Ingredients: 4 Duck legs; Salt; Black pepper; 1 tbsp Olive oil; 1 Carrot; 1 Onion; 1 Celery stick; 4 Garlic cloves; 1 tbsp Tomato purée; 1 generous splash Dry sherry; 400 g Tinned tomatoes; 1 tsp Chinese five spice; 1 splash Water; 1 splash Chicken stock; 2 Large floury potatoes; 1 layer Coarse salt; 2 Egg yolks; 150 g Plain flour; 1 tbsp Cornflour; 1 generous pinch Salt; 25 g Unsalted butter; 1 tbsp Olive oil

This dish has been in my arsenal for over 10 years, however, I'd never had it with gnocchi before. In fact, I thought I didn't like gnocchi. Those stodgy little hockey pucks you get in supermarkets just don't compare to the incredible fluffy pillows you get when you make them yourself and fry them in butter. This was just delicious.
